Ashford Fire Department currently has an ISO rating 3 for residents living in City limits of Ashford, and an ISO rating 3x for residents living outside City limits but living inside Ashford Fire Department’s jurisdiction.

AFD has the following equipment in operation responding from fire station located at 102 Fifth Ave:

• 3 Class A Pumpers
• 1 Brush/Rescue Truck
• 1 Brush Truck
• 1 Service Truck
• 1 Command/First Response Vehicle

In addition to firefighting equipment, AFD also has an extensive compliment of rescue equipment including 2 sets of extrication equipment, lift bags with support, and rescue accessory equipment.

AFD currently has 25 members who train and work diligently to serve the Ashford Community and support surrounding Fire Departments with mutual aid responses.
